Okay, so this little rant here is on one
Why you may ask? READ ON.
Basically, while looking through her gallery I found two re-coloured pictures and told my friend about them, from then she decided to a NICE critic on here it is:

So, clearly Karissa did not react well, in fact, according to the comment,  Karissa ran straight to her mum, and got her to comment instead of taking the HELP. Frost was then BLOCKED by without even waiting for a reply from Frost to explain, so, I replied, my comment is there if you want to read. And what happened? I INTERN got blocked, for EXPLAINING, that was HELPING karissa, not in any way OFFENDING HER.


you are seriously butthurt here,  I really doubt you even read that critic, I bet as soon as you saw it was about you, you instantly FAKED being your mum and commented, because what mother would put 3 question marks at a question, call a kid the same age as her child mean-spirited, and then puts 'quit' in capital letters. That critic wasn't even harsh or hurtful, it was fairly kind! and instead of addressing the problem with some DIGNITY, you wrote a sentence, then proceeded to BLOCK frost out of your own ass-soreness. So, being a true FRIEND I commented on her be-half, in no way with my comment I was trying to be hurtful either, I was trying to explain a few things for you, but instead of listening, you instead blocked me, tell me do you act like this whenever you're critiqued?

And here's the icing on the cake, she has a white-knight (who I will keep unnamed for now) who commented on frosts journal. I would just like to point a few things out:
1. That critic was not harsh in the slightest
2. Welcome to the internet, whether you want critics or not, you're gonna get them
3. Yes she may be compared to other people, but EVERYONE needs to improve no matter who they are and how good they are now, these were just some tips given, she didn't need to listen but she could of at least read what it said
4. This wasn't actually slamming her art in anyway, just trying to help her
5. And in no way was this to make frost feel better, it was only to HELP, let me repeat HELP YOUR FRIEND. Are you telling me you want karissa to stay at the same art level for the rest of her life?
6. Oh, so she should stop helping people?

So, before you come white-knighting here. I'm going to ask you to do me some favours:
1. READ FROST'S CRITIC FULLY
2. READ MY COMMENT TO RAYGIRL87
3. READ THIS ENTIRE JOURNAL TOO
By then if you still white knight her, then I'm sorry, but karissa will not improve, she will remain a bubble-wrapped kid, and at worse, she could get an ED article, and trust me, if that happens then trolls will PICK HER APART. So please, stop white-knighting her, it's not going to help in anyway whatsoever.

Remember, CRITICS are meant to HELP, frost's critic was nice compared to others, so maybe you guys need to think of reactions instead of instantly running to your mothers, you should swallow your pride and take the critic, you don't have to use the advice it's just to help you. That's it.

Okay, journal over, now to sit back for all the white-knights to come and shout at me for trying to help.

This point is to the white-knighters:
You are laughable. Every time I saw a comment from you I laughed to tears. Really I did. You say that the critic was mean, and gave giant exaggerations, one even tried to shove their Christianity into it by saying 'I'll pray for you' so what? Giving a critic instantly means you're going to hell now? I'm pretty sure HELPING someone is fine according to the 10 commandments. Frost was not mean towards in anyway what so ever. And you are not helping karissa in anyway, are you saying you want Karissa to stay at the same art level? To have the same bland eye characters, same style, same everything? If this keeps up trolls will come, and haters will destroy her. Then she'll know the real meaning of bullied.  You are the reason people don't take critics or cyberbullying seriously, because you make it all seem the same thing. I'm pointing this out for the last time:
CRITICING DOES NOT EQUAL TROLLING.
Trolling: being mean or horrid towards someone just to get enjoyment from their reaction
Critics: a piece of text or advice designed to help someone.
Frost was giving a CRITIC. So it was HELPING. So please stop calling us trolls, because you obviously don't know what it is. By the way, if you do keep white knighting Karissa, then life will come hell for her, she will never learn to improve, and at worse, she could get an ED article.

This point is for Karissa:
I am so annoyed right now, I am disgusted by her  behaviour here.  So instead of listening to ANYTHING either me, frost or any of the people who talked to her who weren't white knights said, she instead removed her icon, put her tagline as 'I'm being bullied' and posted this journal:

Done? K good, maybe now you see why I'm disgusted to the point of vomiting with this girl, oh what's that? You're telling me the file can't be found, the icon is back and the tagline is different? Well that's because she changed it, I went to see her profile after I was going through some comments and saw her icon was now gone and at the time, she had the 'I'm hurt' journal up and the tagline was 'I'm being bullied' now she has changed it, mostly because she has tried to ignore it but I can't just let this slide. Read on.
The reason I am appalled at this is because she completely ignored EVERYTHING that was said to her, and in turn sent all her white-knights to attack Frost, all because her precious fragile feelings got a small kind critic, tell me Karissa, did you ever think that setting all your white knights on frost might hurt HER FEELINGS, or are you just too self absorbed to care about anyone else except for yourself? You became a butthurt cry-baby over the smallest little critic, you are LUCKY that someone who wasn't your friend critiqued you, as they would of probably been a lot harsher, their dark humour would have been SERIOUS, meaning they would of meant every single DETAIL  they said and basically rip your art to pieces. Frost never even sad you were a bad artist, she just said that hair doesn't stick down, and that arms and legs have joints in them so THEY CAN MOVE. if you are just so high sensitive to critics, WHY are you even on DeviantART. This isn't just some online chat-room where you can puke out bucket loads of art, it's a place of IMPROVEMENT, meaning you need to suck up pride, take the critic like your age and not a 12 year old and learn, not being a coward and setting your white-knighters onto people who try and HELP you. Frost was nice to you, yet you couldn't take a single metaphorical grain of salt, have you ever heard of 'laugh at your own mistakes' because that's what the dark humour was for. Trust me, if you think this is harsh then you will not survive one minute in a GCSE art class, you will run out of that class room in tears.

And just to point something else out here, but unrelated, you have uploaded RE-COLOURS, I wish I didn't have to say this, but that is a new LOW for ANYONE. Re-colouring can get you in SERIOUS trouble, so unless you want to be suspended from DA or worse, I would advise you to take down ALL re-colours you have ever made.
Karissa, you are reaching rock-bottom here, and I'm sorry if either I or frost hurt you but can you get this into your head that it wasn't meant to offend but to help? Or will you just keep retreating to your hug box and getting other people to do your dirty work for you? I'm worried for you karissa. A Ed article is possible at this point. Just remember, if it happens, to blame us, blame YOURSELF, for not being able to handle the simplest of critics.
